Welcome to the "Sud"!

The region attracts 3 million visitors every year, who come to enjoy the exceptional nature, its 300 days of sunshine a year and its gastronomic culture. It is also one of the most world famous playground for glider pilots.

St-Auban is located in the Southern Alpes, where the valleys are often large and the mountains tops between 1500 and 3000 meters (5000 to 10000ft). In September, the pilots can expect spectacular flights with a mix of ridge riding, thermaling and running under convergence lines. Even some wave conditions can be met.
